Kirkandrews on Esk is a large rural, sparsely populated parish in the north west of Cumbria bordering on Scotland. Originally part of the barony of Liddel, its history is closely linked with the neighbouring parish of Arthuret.
Named after the church of St. Andrew, Kirkandrews on Esk lies about 11 miles north of Carlisle. The nearest town is Longtown just across the River Esk in Arthuret parish.

Kirkandrews on Esk Parish Council meets on the second Monday in the months of January, March, May, July, September and November in Moat Village Hall at 7.30pm - all meetings are open to the public and press.

In the present emergency the parish is being supported by the Longtown Area Food Bank.
